School Year Calendar with Holidays and Class Schedules

The school will be closed on these days. Please prepare ahead for these days. If you want the school to babysit your child during these holidays, we can give you a quote, but you need to make reservations in advance so that we can assign a teacher for your child. If you have any questions, just give us a call.

New Year – Dec. 31 and Jan. 1
If it falls on a weekend, the nearest weekday is observed.
Dr. Martin Luther King Day – 3rd Monday of January
President’s Day – 3rd Monday of February
Good Friday
Memorial Day – Monday – Last week of May
Independence Day – July 4th or the nearest weekday if the 4th is on a weekend.
Labor Day – Monday, 1st Monday of September
Veteran’s Day – November 11, or the nearest weekday if it falls on a weekend.
Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, Friday – Last week of November.
Christmas – Dec. 24 & 25 – or the nearest weekday if it falls on a weekend.

The rule of thumb in the observance of holidays is: “If the holidays fall on weekends, the nearest weekday is observed. If it falls on a Tuesday, Monday and Tuesday are observed. If it falls on Thursday, Thursday and Friday are observed. If it falls on Monday, Wednesday or Friday, the holiday will be observed on the same date.”
